FIF Funding boosts five new projects including RefFIT
Five new promising projects have been awarded by the Fongit Innovation Fund (FIF). Among them, RefFIT received a grant loan.
RefFIT delivers disruptive software for the material industry to efficiently analyze spectroscopy data. The software aims to solve the shortages in semiconductors and other raw materials that disrupt supply chains. RefFIT also won the 2022 Venture startup competition in the ICT category. It was launched as an academic project at the DQMP, University of Geneva in 2003.
The FIF is the instrument for fostering innovation and scale up of promising companies from the Canton of Geneva at the service of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The FIF is supported by the State of Geneva, the Geneva Chamber of Commerce (CCIG), the United Nations International Trade Center (ITC) and United Nations Environment agency.
