According to Exaly (https://exaly.com/author/2190896/alexey-b-kuzmenko/rankings), Alexey Kuzmenko is the most cited author of “Review of Scientific Instruments” in 2005 and his paper “Kramers–Kronig constrained variational analysis of optical spectra” is the 1st most cited paper of “Review of Scientific Instruments” in 2005.
In this paper, a disruptive numerical method of applying the Kramers-Kronig relations to all types of spectroscopic data (transmission, reflection, absorption, ellipsometry etc.) has been proposed. This universal approach, realized by the author in a free software package RefFIT (reffit.ch), has been broadly used in the optics community.
